Requirements
Must:
- Associate degree or equivalent from a trade or technical school in a relevant field
- Minimum seven years of experience in IT Service Desk operations
- At least five years of leadership experience in IT Operations
- Proven ability to lead transformational initiatives at departmental and enterprise levels
- Extensive knowledge of computing infrastructure with vendor experience (Microsoft, Cisco, and Dell)
- Proficiency in establishing and managing cloud infrastructure, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms such as O365, Azure, and Salesforce
- Strong analytical skills in data reporting, metrics, and analytics
- Understanding of contemporary technology trends that enhance operational efficiency
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Innovative approach to problem-solving
- Capacity to engage effectively with external clients and senior executives focusing on client satisfaction
- Expertise in enterprise service delivery operations and strategy
- Experience with Service Desk, Network Operations Center, and Security Operations Center functions
- Microsoft Operating Systems certification or equivalent
- ITIL Foundation certification
- ITIL Service Lifecycle certification
- ITIL Continual Service Improvement certification
Responsibilities
- Cultivate a culture centered around outstanding customer service and ensure proper assignment of trouble tickets, including accurate details and troubleshooting steps for timely resolutions.
- Maintain and support infrastructure and operational services, while fostering strong client relationships.
- Drive performance enhancements and process optimizations through analysis of service management data to identify patterns.
- Oversee governance of Change Management processes and lead Change Approval Board meetings.
- Ensure timely completion of daily, weekly, and monthly performance statistics and reports, customizing them to fulfill departmental needs.
- Lead root cause analysis efforts, reviewing problem data to pinpoint failure sources and collaborate with stakeholders to avert future issues.
- Coordinate project staffing alongside IT leadership and ensure compliance with defined ITIL processes while administering ITSM tools to achieve service objectives.
- Provide leadership and supervision to team members, ensuring skills are developed and performance is effectively managed.
- Establish and nurture relationships with vendors and third-party managed service providers.
Description
We are currently seeking a Director of IT Services Operations based in Phoenix, AZ, offering a competitive salary range of $140,000 to $160,000 annually. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team overseeing Service Desk operations and end-user computing needs, ensuring efficient, reliable, and secure service delivery. You will be integral in building a fully functional Network and Security Operations Center (NOC and SOC), managing desktop computing infrastructure, and contributing to the overall IT operational strategy.
