Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience with Informatica IDMC and data lineage capabilities
- Strong knowledge of data governance and metadata management
- Expertise in building end-to-end data lineage maps across various systems
- Familiarity with compliance regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA
- Proficient in using databases like Snowflake, Oracle, and SQL Server
- Ability to automate metadata ingestion and develop custom metadata parsers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Implement and configure data lineage features in Informatica IDMC, including metadata scanning and visualization
- Create and maintain comprehensive data lineage maps for essential data assets across diverse systems
- Work with Data Governance, Data Engineering, and Business Teams to onboard key metadata sources into Informatica IDMC
- Validate lineage paths and documentation to ensure accuracy and quality
- Automate the ingestion of metadata from various source systems
- Develop custom parsers and connectors as needed using APIs or Informatica SDKs
- Support data governance initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance through effective lineage mapping
- Contribute to the design and upkeep of metadata management workflows and standards
- Provide training and support for users on utilizing the Informatica Data Catalog UI to interpret lineage
