Requirements
Must:
- Extensive knowledge of MongoDBs functionalities, including document modeling, aggregation framework, indexing, sharding, and management.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js, especially with MongoDB drivers and related libraries.
- Experience with data pipeline tools and technologies like Apache Spark, Airflow, Kafka, or cloud-native data services.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure and their data-related offerings.
- Capability to design effective and scalable data models for NoSQL databases.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving data-related challenges and optimizing data systems.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Developing and sustaining efficient ETL/ELT (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines for processing structured and unstructured data from various sources into MongoDB and other data platforms.
- Enhancing MongoDB queries, aggregation pipelines, and overall database efficacy to guarantee effective data processing and retrieval.
- Safeguarding data integrity, quality, and security by applying appropriate validation, monitoring, access controls, and encryption measures within MongoDB and associated systems.
- Collaborating closely with application developers, data scientists, data analysts, and DevOps teams to comprehend data requirements, integrate MongoDB with other systems and cloud services (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure), and assist data-driven applications.
- Observing data pipeline performance, resolving issues, and executing solutions to ensure data reliability and accessibility.
- Generating and maintaining documentation for data pipelines, database schemas, and data engineering practices.
