Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Data Center and Cloud Lead with over 10 years in leadership roles.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux, VMware, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Extensive background in managing cloud platforms and hybrid environments.
- Strong understanding of data center technologies including networking, storage, virtualization, and server infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools, orchestration, and monitoring solutions.
- Deep comprehension of security, compliance, and disaster recovery frameworks.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation is a plus.
- Scripting capabilities in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for operational automation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong teamwork abilities for collaboration with cross-functional groups.
- Knowledge of ITIL and operational best practices, as well as compliance standards like ISO, SOC, GDPR.
- Experience in leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
- Ability to influence and guide senior stakeholders on technical matters.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute cloud and data center strategies that align with business objectives.
- Drive innovative infrastructure design, deployment, and operational efficiencies.
- Assess new cloud technologies and propose strategies for adoption.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for cloud and data center technologies,
- Offer technical guidance on architecture, deployment, and best practices to teams.
- Lead troubleshooting, performance optimization, and capacity planning efforts.
- Manage the daily operations of data centers, ensuring monitoring, maintenance, and incident resolution.
- Ensure robust and tested disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place.
- Maintain vendor relationships and manage service contracts for essential infrastructure components.
