Requirements
Must:
- 15+ years of professional experience in network engineering
- Proven expertise in project delivery and network engineering
- In-depth understanding of routing and switching protocols
- Proficient in Unicast technologies: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, NAT, IPSEC, GRE
- Familiarity with Multicast technologies: PIM, RP, MSDP, IGMP v2, v3
- Experience with Switching technologies: STP, PC/vPC/MLAG, CDP/LLDP, QoS, HSRP/VRRP, VLAN/VxLAN, Spine and Leaf topologies
- Extensive knowledge of Cisco Nexus networking hardware and software
- Strong background working with Global Financial Exchanges for tick data and FIX order flow
- Understanding of network monitoring tools, with familiarity in PCAP decoding (Corvil, SFlow, with timestamping PTP preferred)
- Knowledge of Algorithmic/DMA/HFT trading platforms and the trade lifecycle
- Solid grasp of market venues and exchange protocols across diverse asset classes
- Experience with scripting and automation, preferably in Python
- Excellent communication abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to perform under pressure
- Certification is valued but not mandatory; we prioritize hands-on experience over formal certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide solutions across our datacenters and global colocation facilities
- Oversee the architecture, engineering, and deployment of ultra low/low latency network infrastructure
- Manage the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of network and security hardware
- Continuously support, optimize, and document all network connections and hardware
- Participate in multiple projects while configuring and optimizing the network for low latency in intraday trading
- Facilitate connectivity for exchanges, brokers, and managed service providers to enhance market data delivery and order execution
