Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development required
- Proficient in Python, Flask, and Azure services
- Solid understanding of cloud application development and deployment, ideally within Microsoft Azure
- Experience in creating and utilizing RESTful APIs, integrating with external systems
- Familiarity with Git-based version control and collaborative development processes
- Minimum of 5 years of software development experience focused on Python-based applications
Responsibilities
- Design, create, test, and launch scalable web applications using Python and Flask
- Develop and implement solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure services for compute, storage, and serverless applications
- Employ AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude, to improve coding effectiveness and documentation
- Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to convert functional requirements into technical solutions
- Engage in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and support
- Create and maintain APIs along with integrations for internal and external systems
- Ensure high code quality through unit testing, peer reviews, and adherence to coding standards
- Diagnose and fix application issues, including improving performance and debugging
- Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architecture and user guides
- Assist with deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines, and release management using Azure DevOps or similar tools
- Mentor junior developers and offer technical support to team members
- Actively seek out opportunities for system enhancements and optimization
