Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology
- Over 4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting
- Proficiency in HMI / SCADA systems
- Experience in PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens S7, and GE Fanuc PLC systems preferred
- Knowledge of HART Protocol and GAMP5
- Understanding of ANSI/ISA-88 standards
- Experience with RS Logix and Wonderware software preferred
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Motivation to advance ones career
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and troubleshooting of Instrumentation Control systems for mechanical and electrical challenges, including PLCs, motion controls, multi-axis servos, SCADA systems, AC/DC drives, electronics, PLC to PC interfacing, pneumatics, and photoelectric controls.
- Assess existing processes and suggest innovative approaches to enhance equipment utilization and overall resources.
- Communicate and evaluate the operational performance of production equipment, developing strategies to enhance productivity.
- Create, support, and troubleshoot automation and control system solutions for PLCs and HMIs.
- Supervise the design, layout, and wiring schematics of electrical panels.
- Develop equipment specifications and flow charts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the engineering team to maximize production equipment efficiency.
- Engage in Continuous Improvement initiatives by proposing enhancements.
