Requirements

Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud data architecture, data warehousing, data modeling, ETL, and enterprise information systems - Extensive implementation experience with enterprise data warehouse and data architecture principles, including decentralized data architectures (Data Mesh) - 3 to 5 years of experience developing cloud-based data solutions on AWS - Over 5 years of experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake - Practical experience in creating and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines - 3 to 5 years of experience with Informatica (IICS) ETL, Snowflake, and Airflow (orchestration) - Proficient in SQL and Python, with the ability to address complex data integration scenarios - Skilled in Unix, Linux, and shell scripting - Experience with large, multi-terabyte enterprise data platforms in the cloud - Strong understanding of system administration, database management, storage architectures, backup and recovery, and networking - Familiarity with highly sensitive healthcare data and knowledge of HIPAA and data privacy regulations - Excellent communication skills for effectively explaining technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

- Design and build cloud-based data management systems to meet enterprise analytics and reporting requirements - Architect and deploy data pipelines within decentralized data frameworks, including Data Mesh - Ensure compliance of data solutions with established data security, governance, and privacy policies - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable, dependable, and high-performance cloud data solutions - Assess and suggest new cloud products and services to enhance data curation, storage, and processing efficiency - Monitor the performance of cloud data solutions and apply optimization strategies as necessary - Implement and sustain data management and data governance practices in cloud settings - Lead design meetings, facilitate technical decision-making, and provide guidance on data layer and ETL architecture - Draft and review ETL requirements to ensure alignment with enterprise data architecture standards - Conduct in-depth analysis and documentation of cloud data engineering strategies and designs - Establish regular performance assessment processes for systems and create actionable improvement plans - Ensure that solutions are delivered on time and meet business needs and quality standards

This role focuses on the design, development, and optimization of cloud-based data management solutions that support enterprise-level analytics and reporting. Our ideal candidate has extensive experience with AWS, Snowflake, Informatica (IICS), SQL, and Python, along with a strong background in building end-to-end data pipelines while ensuring compliance with healthcare data regulations. We offer competitive compensation ranging from $70 to $75 per hour and the opportunity to work within a supportive and innovative environment.
