Requirements
Must:
- Strong expertise in cloud and platform architecture (hybrid/multi-cloud)
- Experience in designing enterprise cloud foundations (landing zones, guardrails, workload onboarding)
- Knowledge of scalability, availability, disaster recovery, and performance design principles
- Familiarity with hub-spoke networking patterns, private connectivity, and segmentation strategies
- Proficient in RBAC, privileged access patterns, and baseline security measures
- Understanding of policy-driven governance methodologies
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and automation techniques
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability architecture for centralized logging and alerting
- Awareness of cost optimization and FinOps concepts along with tagging standards
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of cloud landing zone architecture, including subscription hierarchy and environment segregation (dev/test/prod)
- Define identity and access architecture for the cloud, focusing on RBAC, privileged access patterns, and separation of duties
- Architect enterprise networking solutions, including hub-and-spoke patterns, hybrid connectivity, and standardized segmentation
- Establish governance and security baselines using policy-driven controls and enterprise monitoring patterns
- Develop platform observability architecture, including centralized logging, metrics, and alerting while integrating security monitoring practices
- Drive implementation strategy, including assessment and planning for landing zones, suitability of workload migration, and scalability considerations
- Promote automation and governance-as-code practices throughout the platform foundation; incorporate operational controls and cost-awareness principles
- Define reference architectures and best practices for application teams to expedite safe delivery
- Support architecture reviews and ensure cloud solutions are aligned with the overall enterprise architecture goals
