Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
- 10 years of prior leadership in program management or relevant consulting roles
- Demonstrated experience with program management frameworks and lifecycle
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or Ruby
- Skilled in writing automation scripts and developing tools
- In-depth knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems, file systems, and configurations
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Terraform, Ansible, or Chef
- Familiar with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experienced with containerization technologies, specifically Docker, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or OpenShift
- Solid understanding of networking principles including DNS, firewalls, and load balancing
- Proficient in monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Strong grasp of security best practices and compliance standards such as GDPR or HIPAA
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen security measures and enhance automation practices
- Develop and implement automation scripts for improved operational efficiency
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any performance issues
- Manage incident response by conducting root cause analysis and preparing post-mortem reviews
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for systems, processes, and incident reports
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Design systems for scalability and resilience, ensuring adequate monitoring of service-level objectives
- Stay updated with security principles to enhance the overall security framework
- Engage in performance tuning, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing solutions
