Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud development.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms and services.
- Proficiency in DevSecOps practices and automation tools, particularly GitLab.
- Skilled in container orchestration and security practices.
- Proven experience with cloud architecture and delivery models.
- Strong analytical abilities to make recommendations for cloud migration and deployment.
- Experience in developing strategies for cloud service failure/recovery and cost optimization.
- Capability to manage cloud policies and ensure secure environments.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Active Top Secret security clearance.
- Must successfully pass a background check, with potential for additional checks as mandated by projects or clients.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop cloud infrastructure for applications, and migrate existing on-premises solutions to the cloud.
- Create and implement cloud applications, transitioning necessary on-premises applications to a cloud environment.
- Evaluate applications, providing insights for platform migration, cloud deployment, and optimization.
- Devise strategies for failure recovery, cost efficiency, and benefit analysis related to cloud and on-premises services.
- Oversee policies regarding cloud service usage and new technology requests to maintain a secure cloud environment.
- Ensure optimal availability and uptime for cloud services.
- Work autonomously to create new software products or enhance existing cloud software significantly.
- Troubleshoot cloud stacks and manage cloud infrastructure effectively.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned.
