Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in T-SQL and SQL Server
- Strong experience in writing, troubleshooting, and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures
- Familiarity with primary key matching and error/reject table analysis
- Ability to build and maintain stored procedures with layered staging architecture
- Skilled in optimizing query performance for large datasets
- Knowledge of data type tuning, indexing strategies, and complex transformation management
- Experience in materializing validation results for Power BI
- Understanding of sampling-based validation techniques
- Previous involvement in ERP data migration projects (preferably SAP, JDE, Oracle)
- Awareness of Azure Data Factory and Power BI
- Typically requires a degree or equivalent relevant experience
Responsibilities
- Support a large-scale ERP data migration validation team to ensure data integrity
- Write, troubleshoot, and enhance SQL queries and stored procedures for data reconciliation
- Conduct primary key matching across various tables to identify discrepancies
- Build and sustain stored procedures, following a layered staging architecture
- Enhance query performance on substantial datasets
- Materialize validation results into formats suitable for Power BI
- Conduct sampling-based validation when full-query comparisons are not possible
- Work independently with minimal supervision while applying professional judgment
- Engage in collaborative workshops and provide on-call troubleshooting assistance
- Present findings effectively to large groups
