Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a Lead .Net application developer with a focus on API, website, and related software development and deployment in the Azure cloud
- Full stack development capabilities
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of Azure platforms and services, such as Azure App Services, Azure API Management, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Azure Application Insights, Azure SQL, etc.
- Proficiency in Visual Studio, C#, Python, Docker, JSON, REST Services, OIDC, SAML, HTML frameworks like Angular or React, and other relevant Azure development technologies
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform is an advantage
- Deep understanding of security best practices for Azure services, including code scanning, access controls, IAM, and data encryption
- Familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, and/or Zero Trust Architecture is highly desirable
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment techniques using tools such as Azure
- Knowledge of DevOps practices employing Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive stance in identifying and resolving challenges
- Strong teamwork, leadership qualities, and effective communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise and take ownership of Azure software development tasks within the scrum team
- Communicate effectively with clients and leadership, tailoring interactions to suit the audience
- Analyze software requirements and assist in creating agile user stories and tasks
- Troubleshoot issues related to software applications and configurations
- Support Azure application deployments, testing, configuration, and installation processes
- Facilitate performance tuning and prioritize security by identifying potential vulnerabilities
- Ensure application resilience and prepare for disaster recovery protocols
- Generate detailed documentation for applications and assist in knowledge sharing within the team to foster collaboration
