Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant field
- Over 7 years of experience in system analysis, implementation, and application administration in Workday
- Comprehensive understanding of SaaS and on-premises application architectures and security principles
- Practical experience with system integrations and enterprise data flows
- Proven experience administering corporate applications like HRMS, Finance, Budgeting/Planning, Time & Attendance, Spend Management, or Document Management systems
- Workday certification(s) (preferred)
- Proficient in procurement, invoicing, and expense management processes (preferred)
- Advanced scripting and automation abilities, including Python, PowerShell, or APIs (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Define, standardize, document, and enforce best practices and operating procedures within Workday
- Manage the configuration, deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle of product-related systems and applications
- Proactively implement systems and processes to ensure applications meet established SLAs for performance, availability, and security
- Develop and provide user training, technical documentation, and change management support to enhance system utilization
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to identify challenges and assess business impact through audits
- Work in collaboration with product vendors, project managers, and development teams to enhance existing systems and introduce new features
- Seek opportunities to enhance application performance, reliability, and operational efficiency
- Analyze stakeholder feedback to continually refine systems and workflows
- Design and execute automation for routine administrative tasks and operational processes
- Manage integrations between product systems and enterprise applications, ensuring seamless data flow using APIs and automation tools
- Collaborate with QA, Integration, Release Management, and other IT teams to improve process maturity
- Lead system upgrades, migrations, enhancements, and feature releases while minimizing downtime and business disruption
- Advise business and technology partners on application configuration options relevant to project goals
- Translate technical challenges into business language and provide clear updates regarding status, risks, and contingency plans
Description
We are seeking a Workday Systems Analyst/Administrator located in Burlington, NJ. This position is primarily remote, requiring only four monthly on-site visits.
