Requirements
Must:
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Practical experience with CI automation tools and processes
- Proficient in SQL for reviewing logs and investigating issues
- Familiarity with creating Splunk alerts and dashboards
- Experience managing Windows platforms within enterprise settings
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline (preferred)
- Background in banking or fintech, especially with digital channels like Wire Transfers and ACH (preferred)
- Understanding of SRE principles and contemporary DevOps methodologies (preferred)
- Experience with monitoring tools like Moogsoft or Splunk (preferred)
- Skills in automation using scripting or orchestration tools (preferred)
- Knowledge of architectural design and system integration principles (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Oversee and enhance mission-critical digital banking applications with a focus on operational excellence
- Ensure application reliability by monitoring dashboards, escalating incidents, and resolving issues promptly
- Maintain 24/7 application uptime through diligent monitoring and proactive issue management
- Participate in an on-call rotation for critical systems support
- Analyze SQL logs to troubleshoot issues and derive performance insights
- Conduct application and OS-level upgrades on Windows platforms
- Utilize tools like Splunk and Moogsoft for system stability and alerting
- Create and maintain operational dashboards for real-time visibility
- Lead automation efforts to streamline tasks and boost operational efficiency
- Refine alerting systems to minimize noise and improve response times
- Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines to foster continuous integration and deployment
- Engage in technical discussions with engineering teams to ensure operational readiness
- Apply best practices in engineering to enhance system stability, scalability, and resilience
