Requirements
Must:
- Minimum four-year degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in front-end development, specifically building e-commerce websites
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript relevant to front-end development
- Solid grasp of responsive web design principles
- Comprehensive understanding of W3C web standards and accessibility guidelines
- In-depth knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues
- Familiarity with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to thrive in a team setting while also working independently on development tasks
- Quick learner with capacity for data-driven decision-making
- Capability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the digital product team to translate UI/UX designs into HTML/CSS/JavaScript code
- Utilize a custom ASP.NET CMS to add new products and update existing listings on the e-commerce platform
- Enhance and modify pages/templates on our custom-built ASP.NET site using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Create responsive product pages based on a pre-defined template structure
- Manage, architect, and organize the e-commerce product catalog
- Produce high-quality code that ensures an on-brand, efficient online shopping experience
- Adhere to W3C web standards and accessibility principles
- Apply SEO and CRO best practices to improve site performance
- Conduct quality assurance testing for the e-commerce website
- Resize and compress images and assets to optimize page speed and performance
