Requirements
Must:
- At least 10 years of experience in designing mechanical cooling systems such as chillers and chilled water pumping and storage systems.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the data center industry, focusing on the design of cooling systems for advanced IT equipment.
- Deep technical knowledge of mission-critical cooling systems, their applications, and prevailing market trends.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of influencing decision-makers at various levels.
- Demonstrated experience in understanding and creating product specifications for end users, consultants, and installers.
- Background in strategic planning, marketing, and market research.
- Well-developed prospecting abilities to identify key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently while effectively collaborating with internal teams.
- Strong collaborative mindset; capability to engage in cross-functional teamwork is crucial for success.
- Willingness to travel globally when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Play a pivotal role in addressing challenges for data center designers and boosting brand visibility for our products in the Data Center Vertical.
- Report directly to the Director of Business Development and Technology Strategy for Thermal Management.
- Collaborate closely with the Global Data Center Technical Selling team to devise solutions for efficient facility water production used in heat rejection.
- Identify the challenges, constraints, and objectives of data center designers, crafting customized solutions for clients.
- Define innovative, scalable, and repeatable thermal management solutions applicable across various phases, locations, or regions where data centers may be built.
- Develop globally applicable reference designs for producing facility water for diverse cooling methods in data centers.
- Engage with industry partners and stakeholders to create authoritative white papers, case studies, or application guides on facility water production techniques.
- Foster connections with the infrastructure design community, including consulting engineers and in-house mechanical teams, through conferences and other engagements to innovate cooling architecture for data centers.
- Provide detailed technical support and guidance on thermal management products both internally and externally.
- Collaborate with R&D, Training, Product Management, and Technical Support teams to address market needs in alignment with product strategies, ensuring clients have the necessary tools for existing and upcoming offerings.
