Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years of experience in development or Measurement & Verification (M&V) engineering within an Energy Services Company (ESCO)
- Bachelors degree in engineering (preferred experience in building modeling, e.g., IAC program)
- CEM and/or CMVP Certification is mandatory
- An MBA or other advanced degree is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage project development tasks
- Comprehensive knowledge of facility systems analysis and assessment
- Proven leadership abilities to guide engineering teams and collaborate effectively
- Strong focus on customer service and ethical practices
- Familiarity with building codes and legislation related to performance contracting
- Experience in drafting M&V plans using IPMVP Options A-D is advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to customer interactions
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, eQuest, and NISC benchmarking tools
- Capability to review contract and subcontract schedules
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and oversight for project development, ensuring alignment with departmental and project goals for complex initiatives
- Engage in risk assessments and contract evaluations to identify and mitigate project risks
- Develop and implement project development processes and engineering resources
- Analyze technical, financial, and legal data to evaluate project feasibility and regulatory compliance
- Conduct research for innovative applications while supporting engineering and financial tasks throughout project development phases
- Lead project risk evaluations to ensure design integrity in projects developed by internal and external engineers
- Review scopes of work for Owner and subcontractor agreements
- Support team objectives by utilizing the Solutions Playbook and Best Business Practices methodologies
- Forge and maintain partnerships with clients on designated projects
- Mentor Project Development and M&V Engineers across various levels
