Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience in software development
- Proficient programming skills in Python and C/C++
- Familiarity with IoT communication protocols (MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus, BACnet)
- Practical experience in developing containerized applications (Docker/OCI)
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and container orchestration for edge devices
- Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs
- Understanding of time-series or signal-based data processing
- Capability to work with embedded or resource-constrained environments
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work with general supervision
- Excellent communication and documentation capabilities
Responsibilities
- Create IoT software components for cooling control systems in data centers
- Rapidly prototype new features and refine them based on system performance
- Implement device connectivity utilizing protocols like MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus, BACnet, and REST APIs
- Design, build, and deploy containerized software applications for edge settings
- Develop and manage Docker/OCI-based microservices for distributed IoT solutions
- Collaborate in real-time and embedded systems (experience with RTOS is advantageous)
- Work alongside controls, modeling, and AI/ML teams to incorporate algorithms into production
- Create tools and scripts for data ingestion, time-series processing, and diagnostics
- Engage in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous enhancement initiatives
- Facilitate system-level testing, debugging, and validation in laboratory settings
- Document designs, interfaces, and workflows to assist cross-functional teams
