Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Software Engineering and/or Computer Science
- Over 7 years of experience in embedded software development
- Expertise in multithreaded, multi-process, real-time embedded application development
- Strong knowledge of software development on Linux or other POSIX operating systems
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages
- Familiarity with formal development methodologies
- Capability to plan and estimate software projects
- Experience using test/debug tools such as I2C debuggers, gdb, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.
- Experience with Yocto and bitbake
Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and create high-quality embedded software for fire alarm systems
- Actively engage in all phases of the software development process
- Prioritize features and enhance our software solutions
- Collaborate with individuals from various departments and global locations
- Advocate for the product vision with enthusiasm
- Inspire innovation and provide ongoing feedback to fulfill customer needs
- Support teammates and other functional teams
- Continuously improve your skill set
