Senior Development Engineer - Sustainable Infra

- Serve as a lead within the Development Team for medium to large projects - Oversee engineering tasks, field audits, data analysis, and financial modeling during project development - Conduct thorough analysis of complex technical and financial aspects to maximize the JCI offerings - Support team objectives utilizing the Solutions Playbook and Best Business Practices - Foster ongoing partnerships with customers on assigned projects - Mentor and guide Staff and Development Engineers - Provide technical, process, and financial analysis support during the design phase - Lead data collection and analysis related to project development ranging from $5M to $20M - Develop and maintain detailed budgets and project scopes - Collaborate with internal and external partners to create energy savings models, cost estimates, and work scopes - Assist in drafting proposals and customer communications - Utilize specialized expertise to contribute effectively as a team member - Evaluate design risks and ensure accountability across project elements - Lead cross-functional teams in developing components for bundled sales - Conduct on-site audits and data collection for solution design and development - Perform detailed engineering and financial analysis to identify cost savings for customers - Engage in technical and financial benchmarking as necessary - Facilitate the creation of customer baselines and risk analysis in cooperation with the Governance Team - Present to various levels of customers including technical and C-suite executives when needed - Manage budgets, timelines, and quality for assigned projects - Fully leverage MyWork platform and related tools in daily tasks - Develop and sustain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and technical financial managers - Remain updated on relevant engineering design standards - Mentor junior Program Development staff and provide post-contract design review support - Engage in professional organizations and maintain relevant certifications and licenses - Promote adherence to safety policies and perform other related duties as required
