Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or a related field
- Over 5 years of relevant software development experience
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines
- Capacity to thrive in a teamwork-oriented, cross-functional environment
- Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink
- Knowledge of classical control theory (PI or PID)
Responsibilities
- Develop models, algorithms, control sequences, and system solutions for Building Automation Systems (BAS) and commercial HVAC control
- Implement and test control applications for air side and water side commercial HVAC systems and standalone equipment
- Collaborate with electronics, mechanical, software, systems, and research engineers to create system-wide solutions
- Utilize robust design methodologies and engineering principles for effective solution development
