Senior Application Engineer, Java and AWS

- Engage daily with field sales teams to offer advice on applying and installing Chiller Solutions equipment within HVAC systems - Provide insight on systems applications and develop innovative solutions tailored to unique client needs - Contribute to the creation of tools and documentation to aid field sales and streamline standard inquiries - Utilize in-house engineering systems to effectively respond to product detail inquiries - Support sales teams in addressing equipment, job, or code-related challenges - Maintain clear communication and follow-up with sales teams, design engineers, and product management to ensure customer needs are met efficiently - Obtain supplier quotes to relay cost and lead times for special product requests - Attend product team meetings to strategize and execute business development initiatives - Develop and conduct segments of sales training, including on-site and field office training sessions - Mentor and assist other Application Engineers, Product Marketing staff, Sales Engineers, and Sales Agents - Exhibit a thorough understanding of both JCI and competitor products, market dynamics, and relevant technologies
