Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years in designing, pricing, and implementing integrated security systems
- Proficient in access control, IP video, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems
- Skilled in security system design tools such as AutoCAD, Visio, and manufacturer-specific software
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Strong strategic thinking and customer engagement abilities
- Capacity to work collaboratively across teams and travel to customer sites within NY
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive application solutions and cost estimates for complex and strategic account opportunities
- Collaborate with Sales Executives, Engineers, and Project Managers to assess customer requirements and design integrated electronic security systems
- Create detailed system design specifications, proposals, and bills of materials (BOM)
- Utilize design tools to generate professional documentation for security systems
- Provide tailored hardware and software security solutions to meet client needs
- Generate project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource allocation
- Analyze technical and process data to construct scalable security architectures
- Stay updated with industry standards, compliance requirements, and product capabilities
- Review bid specifications and prepare exception documentation
- Complete submittal requirements for RFPs and scopes of work
- Lead initiatives for new product launches and serve as a liaison with major manufacturers
- Engage in continuous learning and testing of new technologies during product development
- Deliver technical and design support during system startup
- Ensure field teams comprehend and effectively implement system intent
- Support existing systems with hardware/software updates and customer service
- Conduct product demonstrations and participate in industry shows and exhibitions
- Visit local customers and projects within NY as needed
