Requirements
Must:

- A minimum of a Bachelors degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
- Over 8 years of experience in software engineering, including at least 3 years in a technical leadership or architect role.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-level core services for platforms serving multiple products or tenants.
- Familiarity with API-first design principles.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, MQTT, AMQP).
- Proficiency in Identity & Access Management protocols (including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML).
- Understanding of RBAC, MFA, and security best practices.
- Experience with multi-tenancy architecture patterns.
- Comfort with cloud-native architectures (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Proficient in at least one major backend programming language.
- Willingness to travel 5-10%.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of core platform components such as Identity & Access Management, API Gateway, Event Bus, Audit Logging, and more.
- Establish and uphold architecture principles, coding standards, and design patterns for core services.
- Ensure the platforms scalability, security, and high availability across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
- Act as a subject matter expert for core services and mentor the engineering team.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Integration, and Application Teams to ensure service alignment with both internal and partner requirements.
- Review and approve high-level designs, technical specifications, and significant code modifications.
- Provide technical guidance during sprints to ensure that projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
- Break down complex platform features into actionable tasks for the engineering team and monitor project progress while addressing potential risks.
