Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in embedded software development, including at least 3 years in an architectural and system design capacity.
- Proficiency in Linux development (kernel, drivers, device trees, secure boot, etc.).
- Experience in designing and implementing security architectures, utilizing modern encryption standards.
- A strong grasp of the secure software development lifecycle (SDLC), threat modeling, and risk assessment within embedded environments.
- Knowledge of secure boot, trusted execution environments (TEE), hardware security modules (HSM), and cryptographic hardware accelerators.
- Experience in providing technical training and mentoring to foster the growth and development of team members.
Responsibilities
- Design and construct robust, scalable, and secure embedded software systems for mission-critical applications.
- Assist in the implementation of encryption and security features in embedded products following industry best practices.
- Lead architectural reviews, make vital design choices, and uphold secure coding standards within the embedded software team.
- Utilize expertise in Linux to customize OS images and enhance system performance and security.
- Collaborate closely with hardware teams to ensure seamless integration between software and hardware platforms.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to fellow software engineers and architects.
- Investigate and resolve intricate system-level issues pertaining to security, performance, or integration.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in embedded security, encryption standards, and Linux technologies.
- Create high-quality technical documentation to guide security compliance efforts.
