HVAC Systems Engineering Manager

- Lead the long-term planning of the Engineering Team to align with our growth strategies. - Create a strategic business plan for the Engineering Team in harmony with account management plans and corporate objectives. - Formulate approaches to deliver standard applications that are reusable and efficient. - Collaborate with Sales to strengthen customer relationships in the Design Build market. - Review sales forecasts with Sales Management to ensure our Engineering Team is adequately resourced. - Manage and organize the engineering teams workload effectively. - Prioritize and oversee projects to ensure timely progress and completion. - Provide time estimates for project managements job cost evaluations. - Implement, monitor, and communicate Team processes, strategies, and standards. - Understand and manage financial, contract, and other management reports. - Maintain high engineering standards and promote maximum reuse of designs. - Develop and uphold the areas standard systems engineering library. - Mentor team members and guide their professional development through personal development plans and performance reviews. - Establish material procurement standards and maintain an optimal set of materials in collaboration with the Estimator. - Coordinate with field installation teams to ensure timely project delivery. - Uphold safety standards and prioritize employee and subcontractor safety.
