Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess at least a B.S. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field such as Biomedical Engineering or Computer Science, along with significant hands-on experience in industrial/commercial electronic product development and design. An M.S. is highly desired. You should have a minimum of 10 years of direct experience with embedded microprocessor-based PCBAs in applications such as industrial automation, commercial equipment, automotive, or medical fields. Experience in software product development, including engineering leadership in architecture, design, implementation, and testing, is essential. You must demonstrate the ability to architect and design MCU and MPU embedded code (OS/BSP/Drivers) in a shared repository for reuse, with experience in developing Linux products (Yacto distribution preferred). Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are crucial, as is a proven ability to motivate and influence others. Additionally, we value demonstrated competence in partnering with remote development teams both domestically and internationally, as well as effective communication and collaboration with product teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
As an embedded platform architect, you will play a leading role in designing and developing our embedded reusable electronic core circuits and platforms. This involves overseeing the execution of design and testing, as well as managing the release of functions in our shared code space. You will work with global colleagues to establish and understand technology strategies and ensure that our embedded software platform meets cybersecurity requirements and lifecycle maintenance standards. Your responsibilities will include owning the stewardship of the product and core platform code base, driving platform standardization across the portfolio, and implementing governance practices to sustain these efforts. You will provide architecture and technical leadership by partitioning the main features and functions of our target products, defining reusable features, and participating in cross-functional teams to ensure tight integration of platforms and subcircuits. Additionally, you will review product roadmaps and key technology drivers, engage in system development activities, and foster an ethical environment aligned with our company’s Core Values.
