Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Over 4 years of experience in embedded AI/ML, edge inference, or related disciplines
- Solid foundation in time-series ML and deep learning frameworks
- Proficient in TensorFlow or PyTorch for model deployment
- Strong C/C++ programming skills for embedded or performance-sensitive systems
- Background in deploying ML models on edge devices or embedded environments
- Knowledge of reliability engineering principles (FMEA, PHM)
- Capacity to operate under minimal oversight and make technical decisions
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI/ML solutions on embedded and edge devices
- Create time-series models for load estimation, anomaly detection, and condition-based maintenance
- Optimize TensorFlow or PyTorch models for edge deployment
- Develop embedded inference pipelines using C/C++ (Rust experience is a plus)
- Partner with data scientists to transform research models into production-ready implementations
- Collaborate with IoT and controls teams to incorporate ML outputs into real-time control systems
- Enhance models to meet latency, memory, and power usage specifications
- Utilize FMEA, SFMEA, and PHM methodologies to ensure reliability and safety
- Lead system-level troubleshooting, validation, and performance optimization
- Mentor fellow engineers and shape the technical strategy across the organization
