Requirements

Must:
### - I have over 10 years of experience in software/data engineering, including a minimum of 3 years in a data architect or platform architect role. - I hold at least a Bachelors degree in a technical or engineering-related field. - I have designed cloud-native, multi-tenant data platforms for SaaS applications, preferably on Azure, AWS, or GCP. - I possess deep expertise in event-driven data pipelines, streaming frameworks like Kafka, and big data storage solutions. - I have strong hands-on experience with data lake/data warehouse technologies, columnar databases, and time-series storage. - I understand DevOps practices, CI/CD integration for data services, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation. - I have a solid understanding of security, encryption, access control, and compliance for enterprise-grade data environments. - I excel in communication and documentation skills, enabling me to advocate for architecture and align cross-functional teams. - I am open to traveling 5-10%. ###

Responsibilities

- I will design and develop the complete data platform architecture that supports telemetry, event streams, metadata, logs, system health, analytics, and machine learning pipelines. - I will establish data modeling standards, retention policies, partitioning, and lifecycle strategies for both structured and unstructured data within the One Security Platform ecosystem. - I will collaborate with AI/ML architects and analytics teams to ensure that the data platform supports various use cases, including training, inferencing, real-time analytics, and alerting. - I will lead the selection and integration of data technologies (e.g., Kafka, Redshift, TimeScaleDB, S3) aligned with performance, cost, and reliability objectives. - I will ensure compliance with regulatory, privacy, and security standards such as GDPR, SOC2, NDAA, and FIPS for data at rest, in transit, and in use. - I will develop and maintain telemetry pipelines that support dashboards, observability tools, and proactive health monitoring for platform services. - I will work closely with platform, cloud, product, and QA teams to guarantee data availability, accuracy, lineage, and operational efficiency. - I will provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers, data engineers, and analytics stakeholders. - I will maintain a roadmap for continuous improvement of the data platform in line with evolving business needs and technological advancements. ###
