Requirements
Must:
- A PhD or a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in AI/HPC infrastructure, data center operations, or related technical positions.
- Proven hands-on experience in deploying and managing workloads such as LLM, VLM, training, inference, and HPC simulations on GPU-based AI infrastructures.
- In-depth knowledge of AI hardware architectures (e.g., NVIDIA H100/H200, AMD MI300) and their thermal and power characteristics across various workloads.
- Strong understanding of data center mechanical systems (cooling distribution, heat rejection), electrical systems (power distribution, UPS), and networking architectures (InfiniBand, Ethernet fabrics).
- Proficiency in DCIM platforms, BAS integration, and digital twin modeling tools for infrastructure optimization.
- Experience with stress testing tools, workload orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Slurm), and telemetry collection frameworks.
- A demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage complex projects, and deliver outcomes with minimal oversight.
- A proven track record of innovation and collaboration across disciplines within data center or AI infrastructure environments.
Responsibilities
- I will deploy, configure, and manage AI/HPC compute clusters that handle various workloads, including LLM training, inferencing, VLM applications, HPC simulations, and stress testing scenarios.
- I will deploy and commission liquid cooling hardware, including direct-to-chip cold plates, CDUs, immersion systems, and hybrid cooling solutions for high-density AI infrastructures.
- I will design and implement workload management strategies to assess thermal and power characteristics across CPU and GPU-based AI nodes under different operational situations.
- I will develop system-level digital twin simulations, integrating IT telemetry with data from mechanical and electrical infrastructure to model the interdependencies of cooling and computing efficiency.
- I will extract and analyze telemetry data from IT nodes, GPUs, CPUs, and thermal systems like chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and CDUs to enhance performance and energy efficiency.
- I will work alongside thermal engineers and controls teams to validate the performance of cooling systems under real-world AI/HPC workloads and assist NPI development efforts.
- I will integrate and utilize DCIM and BAS platforms for comprehensive infrastructure monitoring, predictive analytics, and operational optimization.
- I will write technical reports and industry white papers that document research findings, best practices, and performance benchmarks related to AI data center infrastructure.
- I will represent our company at industry conferences, technical forums, and customer engagements to share innovations and establish our thought leadership in AI infrastructure optimization.
- I will interact with hyperscalers, OEMs, and technology partners to align our infrastructure solutions with the evolving demands of AI hardware and workloads.
- I will contribute to technical publications, patent filings, and industry standards focused on optimizing data center systems.
