Requirements
Must:
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in building automation controls engineering, programming, and commissioning.
- Proven history in integrating low voltage building sub-systems using standard protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, LON).
- Experience in engineering and implementing control sequences for central utility plants, having led at least five projects in plant automation startup and commissioning.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for handling complex technical projects. Strong attention to detail in documenting meetings and action items.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project or similar project management software.
- Prior supervisory experience with technical or engineering teams.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, including some international travel.
Responsibilities
- Lead system integration and commissioning of the OpenBlue Central Utility Plant (CUP) solution for district energy facilities worldwide.
- Act as the project manager to plan, execute, and finalize Central Utility Plant projects with assigned clients.
- Collaborate with clients to achieve project implementation timelines.
- Perform or assign tasks necessary to successfully complete each project, covering areas such as hardware design, system programming, and installation coordination.
- Oversee system and network commissioning and project completion processes.
- Train plant operators and end users to maximize their use of the OpenBlue CUP software, providing technical support during the warranty period.
- Uphold high ethical standards while conducting operations and ensure compliance with all safety regulations for staff and subcontractors.
