Controls Lead Systems Specialist

- Serve as the on-site project leader to plan, implement, and finalize control systems projects for assigned customers. - Delegate tasks as needed to ensure projects are completed effectively, including hardware design, system programming, and installation coordination. - Oversee project financials, focusing on costs, billings, and collections to maintain profitability. - Actively pursue additional work through change orders and communicate with clients regarding project updates. - Manage the selection, ordering, and delivery schedule of materials required for assigned projects. - Coordinate job site logistics for panel and field device installations in accordance with project specifications. - Verify and commission all system controllers, ensuring full system functionality. - Provide coaching and technical support to System Technicians, Electrical Installers, and System Designers. - Report project statuses to management and provide monthly forecasts on revenue and costs. - Ensure proper warranty execution and communicate with customers post-project completion. - Develop project plans and coordinate necessary resources for timely and cost-effective execution. - Conduct site-specific training for clients on system operation and provide necessary documentation. - Build and maintain long-term relationships with contractors and clients while attending job progress meetings. - Uphold safety standards and prioritize the safety of employees and subcontractors.
