Brazer I - Welding and Assembly Technician

- Execute brazing tasks using a gas torch to weld similar materials, predominantly copper, with a filler material - Adhere to standard soft copper brazing procedures for coils, headers, and partial valve pack materials based on detailed verbal and written instructions to meet customer expectations - Read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications to assemble coil units - Maintain safety by understanding proper processes and equipment, adhering to all safety regulations, and keeping a clean workspace - Identify and report defective materials or issues to supervisors, conducting first article inspections for compliance with specifications - Foster teamwork by collaborating with other departments, managing effective communication, and reporting safety, quality, or process issues to supervisors - Strive for continuous improvement by managing time wisely, troubleshooting, and enhancing productivity - Be flexible in availability for overtime and training across different shifts as needed to support production - Utilize computer software such as Microsoft Office and ERP systems for production assistance - Undertake additional duties as assigned by management
