Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Over 5 years of experience in the HVAC industry, especially in Chiller Technology.
- Strong grasp of refrigeration system principles and relevant equipment.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% for factory, customer, and training site visits.
Responsibilities
- Engage daily with field sales teams, providing expertise on the application and installation of Chiller Solutions equipment in HVAC systems.
- Offer systems application advice, formulate creative solutions for unique customer needs, and leverage competitor insights for strategic advantage.
- Contribute to the creation of tools and documentation to support field sales and streamline responses to common inquiries.
- Utilize in-house engineering systems and documentation effectively to address product detail inquiries.
- Assist sales personnel in overcoming equipment, job, and code-related challenges.
- Maintain clear communication and follow-ups with sales teams, design engineers, and product management to guarantee customer needs are comprehended and met efficiently.
- Obtain supplier quotations for special product requests, detailing costs and lead times.
- Engage in product team meetings to strategize business development opportunities.
- Create and conduct segments of sales training programs, including on-site classes and travel to support field offices training needs.
- Mentor and assist other Application Engineers, Product Marketing staff, Sales Engineers, and Sales Agents.
- Exhibit extensive knowledge of both JCI and competitor products, market trends, environmental influences, and technologies affecting the business.
