Air Handling Unit Engineer

- I will expect you to provide commercial, competitive, and technical application assistance to the field sales team regarding all aspects of Custom Air Units with little oversight. - You will collaborate with a small team to deliver clear solutions to field requests for AHU project support, focusing on Basis of Design. - You will deliver application training and Project Management related to Air Handling Systems as necessary for the sales team. - Supporting customer visits (factory tours) will be part of your role as required. - I want you to take part in testing AHU selection and pricing software. - You will work with the Field Sales team, manufacturing, engineering, and Customer Service to address order issues related to Air Handling Units. - Partnering with engineering, you will develop cost-effective solutions for unique Air Handling Unit applications. - You will assist Airside Technical Service with field application problems as needed. - Drafting technical documentation to support field sales on various air handling application areas will be required. - Collaborating with marketing to establish selection and pricing software requirements will be part of your assignments. - You will evaluate the best techniques, procedures, and theories to apply in the analysis, design, and research of air handling products. - Engaging in complex problem-solving techniques that leverage creativity and ingenuity will be necessary. - Analyzing engineering rules and documents will be a crucial part of your duties. - You will recommend cost-saving and value engineering alternatives for Air Handling Units and systems. - Providing technical direction to other engineers, drafters, or technicians on specific tasks will be expected from you. - You will need to be skilled at preparing, checking, and managing the release of documents to support Custom Air Handling products. - You should be adept at translating concepts into product requirements and applying the concurrent engineering philosophy with manufacturing processes. - Conducting feasibility studies and systems analysis for new applications as needed will be vital. - You will consistently strive for improvement and teamwork in product development and processes.
