Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in a STEM field (Math, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or related area)
- Proficient in C++, Python, and software design patterns
- Experience with applications in mechanical, aerospace, or robotics systems
- Ability to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance, and ultimately a Secret level clearance, with U.S. citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a modern software development environment including automated testing and continuous integration
- Knowledge of additional programming languages and environments (C, C#, Java, Linux, Javascript, Terminal, Bash, Pytorch, TensorFlow, Unity, MATLAB)
- Familiarity with sensors, hardware, or flight test support
- Additional experience in autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, deep learning, robotics, dynamics, flight testing, modeling, and aerodynamics
- Any certifications or internships related to the field
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams on intelligent control, decision-making, and complex battlefield management
- Engage in human-machine collaboration and work with networked distributed systems and reinforcement learning
- Participate in software/hardware design and flight system evaluation
- Prototype and simulate AI and autonomous systems through code development and algorithm creation
- Contribute to the complete data-to-deployment lifecycle of machine learning models
- Work alongside leading experts in AI combat systems to deliver significant capabilities to warfighters
