Requirements
Must:
- Hold a Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with professional experience.
- Possess 5+ years of relevant experience in programming languages such as C#, Python, JavaScript, C++, and/or Java.
- Demonstrate a solid grasp of software engineering principles, including algorithms and data structures.
- Have hands-on experience with modern software development and project management tools (e.g., GitLab, Jira, VS Code).
- Exhibit the ability to collaborate within a team and showcase personal strengths and abilities.
- Adhere to software engineering best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Recognize the importance of testing and validation, with an eagerness to learn various testing methodologies and procedures.
- Possess strong debugging, investigative, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Show interest in leading software development initiatives and providing technical guidance.
- Display a desire to explore and implement new technologies for innovative solutions.
- Be open to travel within the US, not exceeding a few trips per year, each lasting no more than five days.
- Qualify for an Interim Secret level security clearance by start date and ultimately achieve a Final Top Secret clearance, with U.S. citizenship being a requirement.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new software applications while maintaining existing systems.
- Engage in various stages of the software development lifecycle, from gathering and refining user requirements to deploying software at customer locations.
- Participate in reviews of software design, implementation, documentation, and testing to guarantee high-quality outcomes.
- Prepare and execute software deployments, both at our facility and at client installation sites, ensuring successful implementation.
- Collaborate closely with fellow developers, system engineers, technical leads, end users, and sponsors to comprehend system requirements and devise effective solutions.
