Requirements
Must:
You are a strong candidate if you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with the ServiceNow platform along with a solid grasp of ITIL practices.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow APIs such as GlideRecord, GlideAjax, and other server/client-side scripting tools.
- Proficiency in scripting with JavaScript, plus a working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical details to a diverse audience.
- A problem-solving mindset, utilizing your experience, research abilities, and available resources.
- A strong understanding of the architecture and best practices of the ServiceNow platform, capable of designing scalable, maintainable solutions beyond basic configurations.
- Experience in at least three of the following areas:
- Incident, Change, or Release Management
- Knowledge Management
- Service Portal or Employee Center
- Asset or Configuration Management
- Reports, Dashboards, or Performance Analytics
- Eligibility to obtain a Secret level security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet access requirements to classified information. Eligibility criteria include U.S. citizenship.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Build, enhance, and support applications on the ServiceNow platform.
- Develop scoped applications, flows, service requests, access control lists (ACLs), widgets, integrations, and email notifications.
- Create reports, views, and dashboards within ServiceNow.
- Collaborate closely with customers to understand their requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Provide insights on project planning and execution based on your technical expertise.
- Address issues within ServiceNow and assist users in resolving them.
- Test and modify customizations during platform upgrades.
- Educate users and raise awareness of ServiceNow capabilities throughout the organization.
