Requirements
Must:
- 7+ years of experience in IT systems administration, focusing on enterprise monitoring, automation, and infrastructure operations.
- 5+ years of direct experience in designing, deploying, and managing SolarWinds platforms within large-scale environments.
- Proven expertise with SolarWinds Query Language and the REST API for automation and customization.
- Experience in regulated or security-centric environments, including compliance with standards like DISA STIGs, RMF, and NIST 800-53.
- Strong background in developing application and infrastructure monitoring solutions from initial concept to full deployment.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and endpoint management using MECM.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration in enterprise contexts.
- Current DoD 8140 or 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher, such as Security+ CE or CISSP.
- Must possess an active Secret level security clearance by start date and be eligible for Top Secret clearance, with U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, development, and upkeep of an enterprise-level SolarWinds monitoring platform for infrastructure, network, and application areas.
- Configure, optimize, and manage SolarWinds modules like Network Performance Monitor and Application Performance Monitoring.
- Ensure comprehensive monitoring for Windows and Linux systems, applications, services, and supporting resources.
- Create and maintain dashboards, alerts, and reports that provide actionable insights on operations, performance, and availability.
- Utilize SolarWinds Query Language and the REST API to streamline monitoring tasks, reporting, and data extraction.
- Integrate SolarWinds with external platforms to improve automation, incident management, and compliance visibility.
- Comply with security hardening requirements and maintain documentation standards for monitoring systems.
- Partner with Infrastructure, Application, and Security teams to ensure system availability, performance, scalability, and compliance while providing technical expertise on monitoring protocols.
- Manage and support enterprise Windows and Linux environments, including Microsoft technologies like Active Directory and patch management.
