Requirements
Must:
- Hold a BS in mathematics, electrical engineering, statistics, or a related technical discipline
- Have over 5 years of experience in developing and assessing tracking and data fusion algorithms and systems, including troubleshooting design challenges
- Demonstrate expertise in key technical areas such as data association and correlation, state estimation, Kalman filtering, track-level fusion, and distributed data fusion
- Be proficient in conducting evaluations through modeling, simulation, and data analysis using MATLAB, Python, or similar programming languages
- Exhibit strong communication skills, with experience in creating and delivering presentation materials for sponsors and external entities
- Be willing to travel up to 10% of the time, when necessary
- Possess an active Secret security clearance and be able to obtain a TS/SCI level clearance, meeting U.S. citizenship eligibility requirements.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and refine tracking and data fusion algorithms and system architectures, often as part of a broader system-of-systems initiative
- Collaborate with both internal and external teams to identify and tackle intricate technical challenges
- Design and execute studies that provide algorithmic proof-of-concept while formulating system design suggestions based on quantitative assessments
- Develop and deliver analysis packages and presentations for our sponsors and other significant stakeholders
