Requirements
Must:
- Possess a Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Have over 4 years of relevant professional experience, or a blend of graduate research and practical experience in mathematics, physics, quantum programming, and quantum hardware.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Rust.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Capable of obtaining an interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and ultimately securing a Top Secret level clearance. Eligibility requires U.S. citizenship.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with scientists, mathematicians, and physicists on innovative quantum computing research projects.
- Participate in teams dedicated to evaluating current capabilities and identifying vulnerabilities.
- Work with colleagues to create and develop algorithms, methods, and novel solutions to enhance defensive strategies.
- Engage with engineers and scientists who are committed to innovation and dedicated to national defense.
- Actively contribute to the scientific community by publishing papers and presenting research findings at meetings, conferences, and proposal discussions.
- Join a supportive environment that values professional growth, work-life balance, and technical advancement.
- Participate in social events such as weekly game nights and annual summer barbecues.
