Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a business, technical, or relevant field
- 2+ years of applicable experience in project operations coordination
- Proven capability to review and organize technical content, providing critical analysis of documents
- Strong communication skills with experience in engaging effectively with various management levels and government officials
- Demonstrated initiative with an ability to prioritize tasks and resolve moderately complex issues independently
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work in secured areas as necessary
- Active Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI level clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship
- Preferred: Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Preferred: Proficiency in tracking and updating program schedules, milestones, and contract deliverables
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Program Manager and Project Managers to establish task priorities and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure project timelines are adhered to and stakeholder requirements are met
- Quickly acquire a comprehensive understanding of the projects and prepare information for program reviews, including document content from technical staff
- Organize and lead meetings and seminars for internal and external attendees while managing logistics and scheduling
- Interface with sponsors to collect presentation information, ensuring compliance with clearance and preparation of materials
- Coordinate with various APL departments (security, quality, contracts, etc.) to mobilize support for project execution
- Monitor contractual deliverables, integrating them into the task plan while tracking program progress
- Manage the timeline for proposal development alongside the Financial Manager, ensuring submission quality
- Assess project plans for potential deviations based on the most recent information available
- Gain understanding of technical work carried out by the program, communicating methodologies and impacts effectively
- Assist Program Manager with task plan reviews and Statement of Work development to ensure compliance
