Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in supporting and configuring Oracle E-Business Suite Financials, with a strong grasp of financial module and business processes.
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting and finance principles and their integration into ERP workflows and controls.
- Proficient in SQL and well-versed in EBS data structures, reporting, and integrations.
- Experience in configuring setups, personalizing forms, and ensuring application functionality within EBS.
- Familiarity with managing Oracle Service Requests (SRs), which includes issue documentation and data collection.
- Background in supporting or testing extensively customized financial applications.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, capable of translating business needs into technical requirements and explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across both technical and business teams.
- Must hold U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status, as required to access our facilities and networks, subject to applicable laws.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications within Oracle EBS.
- Configure and support EBS modules across Financials, Procurement, and Projects to meet changing operational and reporting requirements.
- Work with developers to design, test, and deploy extensions, interfaces, reports, and integrations.
- Conduct data analysis, validation, and reconciliation utilizing SQL and other diagnostic tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues through root-cause analysis, coordination with Oracle Support, and application of recommended fixes.
- Produce and maintain documentation, including functional designs, test scripts, user procedures, and configuration records.
- Participate in system testing, patch management, and upgrade initiatives to ensure stability, accuracy, and compliance.
- Assess change requests for business impact, dependencies, and alignment with governance and audit standards.
- Identify and execute process enhancements, automation, and reporting improvements to boost efficiency and data integrity.
- Draft functional design specifications, configuration documents, test plans, and test scripts.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and propose solutions for issues encountered.
- Author and present solution documentation clearly and effectively.
- Support users through training, issue resolution, and communication of best practices for system usage.
