Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional engineering environment with a focus on the Department of Defense
- Proficiency in MATLAB for modeling, simulation, analysis, and visualization tasks
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team setting
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Capability to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance by start date and ultimately achieve a Top Secret clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of Missile Defense systems
- Model, analyze, and assess fielded systems while identifying improvement opportunities
- Propose and design innovative concepts and algorithms to enhance capabilities
- Conduct analysis for assessing potential performance of future systems
- Prepare presentations to communicate technical recommendations to APL leadership and stakeholders
- Foster a dynamic team culture by participating in collaborative activities and promoting core values of continual improvement and innovation
