You meet our basic qualifications for this position if you: - Hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field. - Have between five to ten years of relevant experience in systems engineering. - Possess a robust understanding of systems engineering principles and practices. - Are knowledgeable about digital engineering and systems engineering modeling techniques and methodologies. - Are familiar with systems engineering frameworks such as DODAF and UAF. - Have the capability to analyze complex problems and create innovative solutions, particularly in system architecture and integration. - Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication abilities, and effective organizational skills. - Are proficient in leading projects, working independently, and collaborating within a team environment. - Are willing and able to stay current with advancements in digital engineering, such as MBSE, languages, frameworks, tools, and industry standard methodologies. - Are prepared to occasionally travel, including both local and non-local trips. - Hold an active Top Secret security clearance and meet the requirements for access to classified information, including U.S. citizenship. You'll stand out if you: - Have a Master's degree (or higher) in engineering, systems engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field. - Bring ten to fifteen years of relevant systems engineering experience. - Are proficient in using modeling tools and software, such as Cameo Systems Modeler, Sparx Enterprise Architect, Capella, Visual Paradigm, or IBM Engineering Systems Rational Rhapsody. - Are familiar with modeling languages like SysML and UAFML or other industry-specific languages. - Hold relevant certifications from recognized professional engineering and MBSE organizations. - Have experience in Air Force and/or Navy platforms and systems related to NC3. - Demonstrate competence in using software tools for analysis, simulation, and validation, such as MATLAB/Simulink or other domain-specific tools. - Exhibit strong analytical skills for requirements analysis, risk assessment, and performance analysis of systems. - Have an active Top-Secret/SCI clearance. ---

Responsibilities

As a Digital Engineer, your responsibilities will include: - Enhancing your systems and digital engineering skills through training and collaboration with other Systems Engineers (SEs), Digital Engineers (DEs), and MBSE modelers. - Identifying and implementing methods, processes, and guidelines to create artifacts as part of the capability development process. - Collaborating with teams to improve the capabilities of key Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) systems. You will utilize DE capabilities to analyze and evaluate existing and proposed systems (system-of-systems) and platforms. - Presenting findings to sponsors and working groups to effectively communicate proposed concepts, solutions, and analytical results. - Working together with engineers and scientists in a multidisciplinary team to create digital engineering products. ---
