Responsibilities
- Create a compelling vision for the product and drive innovation through customer and business insights.
- Establish clear and ambitious objectives and key results (OKRs) to measure product success.
- Develop, maintain, and manage a visible product backlog that communicates clarity on future work and value delivery.
- Draft requirements to ensure the development team has adequate stories for each sprint.
- Collaborate on defining functional and non-functional requirements with product leads and development teams.
- Communicate product roadmap effectively and promptly.
- Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with product goals and updates on progress.
- Work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, demonstrating high emotional intelligence and adeptness in stakeholder management.
- Utilize data and insights to continuously improve and iterate the product.
- Validate new products and features through experimentation in partnership with Data/Experimentation teams.
- Manage the products effectiveness, balancing technical requirements, design debt, and customer value.
- Oversee the scope and progression of releases, ensuring efficient handover of features to end users and understanding development impacts.
- Contribute to the Product Management community, seeking ways to enhance both individual and collective practices.
- Serve as a role model within the Product Management discipline, offering mentorship and support to team members while integrating the JLP Product Framework throughout the directorate.
