Requirements

Must:
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of two years experience in machine learning, deep learning, and data analysis. - Additional educational qualifications may be considered in lieu of experience, as permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. - Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, and MATLAB (preferred). - Familiar with best practices in software development including version control, testing, and documentation (preferred). - Background in healthcare or medical research (preferred). - Experience in collaborative, multidisciplinary team settings (preferred).

Responsibilities

- Create and execute machine learning and deep learning algorithms for analyzing medical images. - Collaborate with radiologists, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals to pinpoint clinically significant features in medical images. - Design and establish data preprocessing workflows to ensure quality input for algorithms. - Develop and sustain software tools for analyzing, visualizing, and reporting data. - Test and validate algorithms and software using clinical datasets and practical scenarios. - Continuously assess and enhance the performance of algorithms and software solutions. - Keep informed about the latest advancements in radiomics, medical imaging, and artificial intelligence. - Oversee the computational and storage resources in the Felix lab employed for training and deploying AI models.

This full-time role is pivotal in developing and implementing algorithms and software to analyze medical images, leveraging cutting-edge machine learning and deep learning techniques. Located at our School of Medicine Campus, we offer a competitive salary range of $101,500 - $177,800 annually, along with a supportive work environment that emphasizes collaboration among diverse teams.
