Requirements
Must:
- Over 6 years of experience in developing and maintaining large-scale, highly available distributed systems and/or cloud services
- Proficient in Java along with scripting languages such as Python or Perl
- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and the fundamentals of distributed systems and cloud services
- Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and conventional network architectures
- Solid grasp of databases, NoSQL systems, storage solutions, and distributed persistence technologies, particularly in cloud environments
- Preferred expertise in Terraform and/or Ansible
Responsibilities
- Contribute to defining and evolving software for tasks related to the development, debugging, and design of software applications or operating systems
- Provide technical guidance and mentor fellow software developers
- Specify, design, and implement minor adjustments to existing software architecture to accommodate evolving requirements
- Own the software design and development for key components of Oracles Cloud Infrastructure
