Senior Network Engineer - Cisco & Juniper

- Configure, manage, and enhance firewall devices (Vyatta, Fortinet FortiGate) in cloud environments - Implement security protocols to prevent unauthorized access and reduce threats - Analyze and monitor firewall logs for suspicious activities - Conduct vulnerability assessments and security checks to identify and mitigate risks - Lead incident response initiatives and coordinate cross-departmental remediation efforts - Promote security awareness and deliver training to various teams - Design and construct cloud security architectures in AWS and Google Cloud Platform (VPCs, IAM, security groups, access controls) - Utilize cloud-native security tools (WAF, IDS/IPS, SIEM) to safeguard infrastructure - Ensure alignment with compliance standards (CIS, NIST, ISO) and cloud security best practices - Collaborate with team members to create secure, high-performance network solutions - Diagnose connectivity issues, latency problems, and packet loss across distributed systems - Oversee network performance, plan for capacity upgrades, and implement alerting mechanisms - Maintain comprehensive documentation of firewall settings, network schematics, and security protocols
